Konstruk Literasi Bahasa Inggeris

DEFINISI LITERASI BAHASA INGGERIS

a. Able to communicate with peer and adult appropriately
b. Able to read and comprehend simple texts and stories
c. Able to write a range of texts through a variety of media.

Ujian saringan dijalankan 2 kali setahun dan 6 kali selama 3 tahun. Ujian saringan terdiri daripada : 

a. Saringan membaca
b. Saringan bertulis

Saringan 1 dan 2 semasa ditahun 1 , saringan 3 dan 4 semasa di tahun 2 dan saringan 5 dan 6 semasa ditahun 3. Mereka wajib menduduki ujian saringan ini dan pencapaian prestasi mereka akan direkodkan secara online dengan Lembaga Peperiksaan. Saringan pertama pada bulan Mei dan saringan ke 2 pada bulan September / oktober setiap tahun.

12 KONSTRUK YANG DIUKUR DALAM LITERASI BAHASA INGGERIS

Construct 1    : Able to identify and distinguish shape of the letters of the alphabet
Construct 2    : Able to associate sounds with the letters of the alphabet
Construct 3    : Able to blend phonemes into recognizable words
Construct 4    : Able to segment words into phonemes
Construct 5    : Able to understand and used the language at word level
Construct 6    : Able to participate in daly conversations using appropriate phrases
Construct 7    : Able to understand and used the language at phrase level in liner texts
Construct 8    : Able to understand and used the language at phrase level in non - linear texts
Construct 9   : Able to read and understand sentences with guidance
Construct 10 : Able to understand and used the language at paragraph level in non - linear texts
Construct 11 : Able to understand and use the language at paragraph level in linear texts
Construct 12 : Able to construct sentences with guidance

LITERASI MEMBACA - LISAN

CONSTRUCK 1 :  Able to identify shape of letters The ability to identify and distinguish the shapes of letters. Pupil read the given letters. Pelajar diberikan kad huruf yang dipilih secara rawak A hingga Z oleh guru. Pelajar menyebut huruf yang tercatat pada kad huruf yang ditunjukkan. 
CONSTRUCK 2 :  Able to associate sound with the letters of alphabet The ability to say aloud the sounds of the phonemes. Pupil says aloud the sound of the phonemes. Guru menunjukkan huruf yang dipilih dan pelajar dikehendaki membunyikan huruf tersebut dengan bunyi yang betul. Pada tahap ini pelajar tahu atau kenal huruf dan faham dengan membunyikannya dengan betul. Konstruk 1 dan 2 adalah konstruk asas. Jika gagal pelajar dikelasifikasikan tegar.
CONSTRUCT 3 :  Able to blend phonemes into recognizable word. The ability to blend sound of phonemes into recognisable word. Pupil blends the phonemes and says the words aloud. Pupil should be alowed to say the whole word aloud without spelling it. Pelajar membunyikan perkataan yang diberi dengan membunyikan dengan kuat. Perkataan yang diberi menggandungi 2 suku kata. Contohnya :

CONSTRUCK 4 :  Able to  segment words into phonemes.  Ability to segment words into phonemes. Pupil says the words then sounds the given phonemes. Guru menunjukkan gambar beserta perkataan yang tertera pada kad yang dipilih. Pelajar akan melihat gambar yang diberi dan membunyikan perkataan yang tertulis pada kad tersebut. Contohnya :

CONSTRUCK 5 :  Able to understand and used the language at word level Teacher describe the picture given for example mat , tin and pin. Pupil listens to the teacher , circle the correct words and says them aloud. 

CONSTRUCT 6 :   Able to participate in daily conversations using appropriate phrases. Teacher asks pupil to read and tick the correct responses. Pupil read and ticks the correct answers.

CONSTRUCT 7:  Able to understand and used the language at phase level in linear texts. Teacher shows the picture and phrases. Teacher may describe the picture briefly. Pupil read and matches the pictures to the correct phases.

CONSTRUCT 8:   Able to understand and use the language at phase level in non - linear texs. Teacher shows the picture to the pupil and asks : What do you see in this picture ?. A picture in the playing ground :                                                        Tick the correct answears     a dog , cat sleeps , three flowers  , one kite                                         

 CONSTRUCT 9 :   Able to read and understand sentences. Teacher may guide the pupil to read the entire paragraph aloud anad prompt when necessary. Not more than 3 mispronounced words in the paragraph can be accepted and full marks should be awarded. Pupil read the sentences aloud. Example : I have a bag , It is a big bag . It is a big blue bag.

CONSTRUCT 10 :  Able to understand and use the language at sentence level in non - linear texts. Teacher points to the picture and briefly describe them. Pupil listens , read and matches the picture to the correct sentences.

 CONSTRUCT 11 :  Able to understand and used the language at paragraph level in linear texts. Teacher guide the pupil to read aloud the paragraph aloud , prompting where necessary. Pupil read the paragraph and answears the quistions by ticking Yes or NO.

CONSTRUCT 12 :  Able to construct sentences with guidence. Teacher guide the pupil to form simple sentences using the subsitution table. Pupil constructs sentences from the subsititution table and reads them aloud.                                 


LITERASI MENULIS            
         
CONSTRUCT 1 :    Pupil writes the letters correctly given in the quistion paper

CONSTRUCT 2 :    Pupil writes the letters with the correct sounds in the given boxes

CONSTRUCT 3 :    Pupil writes the correct words based on the pictures given

CONSTRUCT 4 :    Pupil fills in the boxes with the correct letters to spell the words based on the picutres

CONSTRUCT 5 :    Pupil reads the greeting card given and fills in the blanks with the correct words

CONSTRUCT 6 :    Pupil read the sentences and writes the correct answears.

CONSTRUCT 7 :    Pupil reads the form and writes the correct phrases in th blanks

CONSTRUCT 8 :    Pupil readst he phrases and write them correctly based on the picture given

CONSTRUCT 9 :    Pupil reads , traces and copies the sentences correctly based on the pictures given

CONSTRUCT 10 :  Pupil reads and copies the sentences correctly in neat legble print

CONSTRUCT 11 :  Pupil reads and answears the questions given

CONSTRUCT 12 :  Pupil reads and rearranges the phrases to form correct sentenses

PROSEDUR PERLAKSANAAN - SARINGAN LISAN ( MEMBACA )

Apabila tarikh yang diberi oleh NKRA - KPM dan soalan saringan lisan telah diterima , pentadbir akan menyemak kertas soalan tersebut bersama guru - guru Bahasa Inggeris dan memastikan segala dokumen perlaksanaan ada :

  • Manual Am Pentadbiran Instrumen Literasi - Saringan 1 ( Baseline )
  •  Manual Pentadbiran Instrumen Literasi Membaca - Saringan 1 ( Baseline ) 
  • Manual Pentdbiran Instrumen Literasi Menulis - Saringan 1 ( Baseline ) 
  • Pentadbir akan mengadakan taklimat perlaksanaan kepada semua guru - guru Bahasa Inggeris tahun 1 dan membincangkan cara perlaksanaan. 
  • Guru Bahasa Inggeris akan diberikan satu salinan setiap instrumen tersebut. Pentadbir juga memastikan jumlah bilangan soalan yang diberi mencukupi , jika berkurangan pihak sekolah akan membuat salinan tambahan jika bilangannya sedikit. Jika bilangannya banyak pihak sekolah akan menghubungi pihak pencetak dan memaklumkan juga kepada PPDG. 
  • Kaedah saringan lisan : Guru akan menggunakan masa PDP Bahasa Inggeris untuk melaksanakan ujian saringan lisan dan akan menghabiskannya dalam masa yang ditetapkan - 4 hari. 
  • Saringan dibuat secara individu dalam kelas Jika ada pelajar yang tidak hadir pada hari tersebut , pelajar akan diberi untuk mengambil ujian saringan pada hari berikutnya kerana setiap pelajar wajib mengambil ujian saringan yang ditetapkan.
 PROSEDUR PERLAKSANAAN - SARINGAN MENULIS

  •  Kaedah perlaksanaan hampir sama seperti Saringan Lisan ( Membaca ) tetapi pihak NKRA - KPM ada memberikan cara perlasanaan iaitu - 2 Pilihan : 
  • Pilihan 1 - Dalam 3 sesi - 30 minit bagi setiap sesi Sesi pertama - untuk konstruk 1 - 4 ( kertas soalan akan dikutip sblm meneruskan sesi 2 ) 
  • Sesi ke dua - untuk konstruk 5 - 8 Sesi ke tiga - untuk konstruk 9 - 12 
  • Pilihan 2 - Dalam 2 sesi - 60 minit setiap sesi Sesi pertama - untuk konstruk 1 - 6 
  • Sesi ke dua - untuk konstruk 7 - 12
